Exact Docshark plan limits, pricing, trials, bundles, and what happens on downgrade. Per organization.
Docshark plans are per organization, not per person. Viewers and signers never need a seat. Seats are only for the team members who send documents and read analytics.

What the limits actually mean
- Documents counts files in the library, not sends. Deleting a file frees the slot.
- Active links counts live share links. Revoking or expiring a link frees the slot; reactivating consumes it again.
- Signature sends / month counts envelopes sent, and it is enforced at send time. A bulk send that would push you over the monthly cap is refused before anything goes out.
- File requests exist on Team and Business only. On Hobby and Starter the feature is not in the plan at all.
- Custom document roles (per-member signing, room, analytics, sharing permissions) unlock on Starter. Hobby members share the standard permission set.
- Remove Docshark badge hides the "Powered by docshark" attribution on shared documents and signing pages.
- Custom branding (logo, colors, custom domain) is a Team-tier entitlement.
Sharkforce bundles
Docshark also comes bundled inside Sharkforce plans:
- Sharkforce Business grants the Docshark Team tier.
- Sharkforce Enterprise grants the Docshark Business tier.
- Sharkforce Pro and Free grant no Docshark access.
If an org holds both a Docshark subscription and a Sharkforce bundle, the higher of the two tiers applies. You never lose entitlement by having both.
Trials
Paid plans can start with a trial. The onboarding flow offers 14 days of Business, no card required. While the trial runs, a banner on Docshark pages shows the days remaining. When the trial ends the org falls back to Hobby limits; nothing already sent is lost.
Managing the plan
Open Docshark → Billing to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. No sales call. The page shows current usage against plan limits so you can see a cap coming before you hit it.
Downgrades and cancellation
- Links and completed envelopes that already exist stay live.
- You keep read access to analytics and audit history for documents already sent, within the retention window.
- New sends require either an active paid plan or headroom inside the free Hobby limits.
- Per-link branding overrides survive a branding entitlement downgrade; you cannot create new custom-brand links without the entitlement.
