The Docshark Dashboard
Every panel on Docshark Home. The pulse row, the needs-you list, recent readers, weekly reads, and the sidebar sections.
Docshark Home is the workspace landing page. It greets you by name, tells you what needs attention, and shows who is reading right now.
The sidebar
The left navigation groups the workspace:

The greeting and quick actions
The hero greets you by time of day ("Good morning") and gives the four fastest starts:
- New envelope. Start a signature request.
- New data room. Open the room builder.
- Upload a PDF. Drop a file in the library.
- Ask Mako. Jump to the AI copilot.
The pulse row
A summary strip across the top answers three questions:
- Needs you. A count of items waiting on your action (or "Nothing waiting" when the queue is clear).
- Out for signature. Envelopes currently in signing, with how long the oldest has been waiting and the typical time-to-sign ("Usually signed in {time}").
- Reads this week. Total reads and unique readers across your links and rooms.
Envelopes that have been out far longer than usual with nothing back are called out individually, "{envelope}, nobody has signed it, sent {when} ago". So a stalled deal cannot hide inside a number.
Needs you
The attention panel lists every open item, grouped by kind:

| A reader asked a question | A data-room Q&A item with no answer yet. |
| Link expires | A share link approaching its expiry date. |
| No signer has opened it | A sent envelope nobody has viewed. A nudge is due. |
Each row links straight into the thing that needs you. An empty state ("You're all clear") means no signatures, questions, or expiring links are pending.
Who's reading
The recent-readers panel lists the latest identified viewers: who, what they read, how long they stayed ("Read for 4m"), visit counts, and whether they just opened or keep coming back. Returning readers are flagged. Someone who opened three times is evaluating, not skimming.
Reads this week
A week view of readership:
- A per-day strip showing reads per day for the last seven days. Pick a day to see its share of the week.
- A scatter plot where every dot is one read: when it happened and how long it lasted. Long reads and anonymous reads are marked.
- A delta against last week ("3 more than last week") and the average read length.
- Most read. Your top documents this week with open counts, linking straight to each document's analytics.
Onboarding
First-time visits offer a guided tour with three demo missions, each about a minute and run on a sample document so nothing real goes out:
- Send a trackable link. Share the sample, open it like a reader, watch the open land live.
- Send for signature. Sign the sample yourself and watch it get sealed.
- Open a data room. Create a room, make its link, visit it as a guest.
Each mission points at the real buttons, waits for the real event ("Waiting for the first open…"), and celebrates when it lands. A skip link takes you home at any point. After the tour, a team step lets you invite colleagues. Their seats open with a free trial.
