Agreement Lifecycle
Agreements and CLM
Contract lifecycle management. The inbox that runs your agreements, approvals, obligations after signing, and automated follow-ons.
Signing is the middle of a contract's life, not the end. Docshark's CLM layer covers what happens around the signature: the queue of agreements needing attention, internal approvals, post-signing obligations, and automated next steps.
The pieces
| Piece | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Agreements inbox | One queue for everything needing you. Unsigned envelopes, open questions, pending approvals. |
| Approvals | Internal sign-off before documents go out. One-at-a-time or all-at-once chains. |
| Obligations | What the signed contract commits you to. Deliverables, renewals, deadlines, tracked. |
| Agreement actions | Automation on signing events. A signed order form spawning the onboarding envelope itself. |
| Negotiation | Proposed changes instead of signatures. The request-changes flow from the signer's side. |
How it fits together
A document moves through the whole layer:
- Draft. An approval chain clears it internally before it goes out.
- Sent. The envelope rides the routing order; questions and change requests land in the inbox.
- Signed. agreement actions fire: downstream envelopes, notifications, record updates.
- Live, obligations track what the contract now owes, deadlines watched, renewals flagged, breaches surfaced before they happen.
Why it exists
Most "signature" work is actually agreement work. Chasing approvals, answering "did they sign yet", remembering the renewal buried on page 12. CLM makes Docshark the place that work lives, not just the place the signature happened.
