The Analytics Dashboard
Org-wide views of opens, reads, and the signing funnel. Filters, charts, tables, and date ranges in detail.
Docshark → Analytics aggregates activity across your whole workspace: shared links, data rooms, and signature envelopes.
Filters
Two filters scope the whole dashboard:
- Date range. Presets for 7d, 30d, 90d, and All time, plus a Custom range with its own start and end.
- Link. Scope everything to one share link, or keep All links.
Reset returns both filters to defaults.
The charts

| Views over time | A time series of opens across all documents. Spot the days your materials actually circulate. |
| Per-page heatmap | Aggregated per-page attention for a document. The pages that held readers and the pages that lost them, in one glance. |
| Per-page dwell | Average time on each page across sessions. |
| Device breakdown | Desktop vs tablet vs mobile share of reads. |
| Geo distribution | Country-level spread of your readership. |
| Signing funnel | Envelope completion rates: sent, opened, signed, done. |
The tables
- Recent viewers. The latest sessions: who opened what, when, and how long they stayed.
- Hottest viewers. Your most engaged readers ranked by attention.
- Top links. The links pulling the most views.
Reading the numbers
Each metric answers a different question:
- Opens tells you the link traveled.
- Page completion tells you it was actually read.
- Dwell per page tells you what held attention. And where readers dropped.
- Return visits signal real evaluation, not a skim.
- Denied attempts tell you the gates are working. Or that a link leaked beyond its audience.
Scope and retention
Analytics data is kept per plan: 14 days on Hobby, 90 on Starter, 180 on Team, 365 on Business. Audit export of the underlying events is available on every plan, including Free.
Activity older than your retention window rolls off automatically. If you need long-term records, export regularly. See exports.
